The mission of the KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier is to support the Premier in carrying out his/her constitutional and statutory duties.
This programme is designed to provide experiential learning and assist graduates in gaining practical skills over a 24-month period, starting from the appointment date.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
- Unemployed KwaZulu-Natal Graduates
- Must be willing to relocate to Pietermaritzburg at their own cost (Note: Provincial Public Service Training Academy interns will be based in Durban).
- Must be computer literate.
- No work experience required.
- Must have graduated (Please attach a certified copy of the Diploma or Degree certificate).
- Must be unemployed following the completion of the tertiary qualification.
- Must not have previously enrolled in the graduate internship programme.
- Must have a tertiary qualification from one of the specified fields.
Duration and Structure
- Applicants will be required to enter into a 24-month internship contract with the Department, effective from the date of assumption of duty.
